Sable x Forever Soup - Plaid with Rusty Swirl

We are proud to announce our first collaboration with Forever Soup Co, an upcycling duo also based in NYC whose mission is save fabric from the landfill by celebrating the imperfections. The brand’s name and philosophy are inspired by the medieval concept of a perpetual stew—or "forever soup"—where a communal pot is continuously replenished with scraps and leftovers so nothing goes to waste.

As part of our shared love of sustainability and craftsmanship, these bandanas are pulled from our "seconds" batches and given a new life with hand-embroidered motifs. These seconds have minor flaws such as being imperfect squares, off-center prints, and small printer defects. As such, each piece is unique and is being listed separately so you can see all the details before you buy! 

This plaid design is based on an 1840's original textile. We loved the texture and color scheme, and included intentional "spots" where the original textile had been worn away.

• Machine wash in cold water with like colors. Air dry.
