ILYSM Tabby
The very special “ILYSM Tabby” is our lightest, most velvety sheer silk scarf yet. It has an absolutely delicious feel against your skin! It wasn’t easy to make, and we searched the four corners to bring it to life.
The fabric was woven in India, and the colorway was inspired by antique Indian paisley shawls. The print is from the archive of Bianchini-Ferier, a 19th century French textile manufacturer well-regarded for creating silk fabrics for couture houses. We infused the print with a signature love note, “ILYSM, xoxo.” Finally, and with great difficulty and expertise, the hems were hand-rolled in Manhattan’s Garment District.
The ILYSM Tabby is a reminder that from India to France to the U.S., no matter how difficult things are, fashion brings us together.
