ILYSM Tabby - PREORDER
Our Tabby is far from your typical sheer silk. We searched the four corners to bring you the lightest, most velvety sheer silk in the world.
Take a journey through the global fashion community, where no matter the time or place there are always kindred spirits to be found.
The print is from the archive of Bianchini-Ferier, a 19th century French textile manufacturer well-regarded for creating silk fabrics for couture houses. The colorway is from antique 19th century Indian paisley shawls. With great difficulty and expertise, the scarves are finished in Manhattan’s Garment District.
We promise that even those who are the most sensitive to fabrics will enjoy this delicious handfeel. Stay tuned for a blog post on the history of tabby silk.
