Wish You Were Here Bandana (Seconds)

The limited edition cotton version of our very first bandana, Wish You Were Here, but at a friendlier price point. The "Cardinal" colorway print is slightly more faded and "vintage" effect than the Washed Black and Crystal Lake versions. For this reason, we are putting this color only in "Seconds". Washed Black and Crystal Lake seconds could have uneven print distribution or other small inconsistencies but all are still wearable!

We took inspiration from vintage souvenir bandanas and surrealist paintings by Salvador Dali and Leonor Fini. The central photograph perfectly illustrates our brand's ethos: “Out of the prairie, into dreamland.”

For this collection’s theme of rebirth, we subverted symbols from our upbringing and gave them new meaning. Balancing masculinity and femininity, snakes are a traditional symbol of both fertility and death. Their ability to shed their skin echoes our central image. In the background you can find moths and skulls, which recall transformation and the stages of life.

• Our black banana is discharge printed and garment washed.
• Our red and blue bandanas are garment dyed, discharge printed, and garment washed. 
• Machine wash in cold water with like colors. Air dry.
