The inspiration for our Fall ‘24 collection was a night at the Rockford Speedway, a family-owned racetrack in northern Illinois. It’s where the co-founders grew up, and in 2023, our families attended a final race before the track closed down.
The Speedway prints combine elements of old and new, reflecting on nostalgia, memories, and time. We created a contemporary American toile and referenced vintage hankies to illustrate a trailer race. We also made what we’d wear to the Speedway, and obviously that included studs and leopard print. Our largest silk scarf yet explores negative space and the corn fields beyond the Speedway.
